A whole new language

First of all, no offence to all Facebookers, i judged based on what i saw on my news feed everyday. It really does drive me nuts when the first page on my facebook account is fulled with quizes people did in English and Mandarin. This is Ivy's page abuse already T___T too bad police won't take my case *cries*

If you are a Facebooker, you must be familiar with this trendier Facebook-friendly terms to describe different individual (might be your friends or friends' friends yadda yadda) on FB.

Face-brag: Use FB only as a way to brag about your great new job, hot date last weekend, brilliant child or pets or even fancy cars. I mean that's awesome okay? But the rattling sound you now hear is our eyes rolling back in our skulls.

Face-goggler: People who post misleading profle photos of themselves on FB. This is still alright to me because i have not come across any so far phew!

Face-woe: The opposite of Facebrag. this is the dark habit of ONLY updating your FB status area with sad or depressing news--- ''Ivy Eng is crying''--in an effort to get 50 comments of support from your friends. Not in my case because people can't be bothered why i cry *screams*

Face-crack: Ahh, the phenomenon of being addicted to FB. You're just dying to log on now and take another quiz or send another beer, poke another friend or tag another photo from high school reunion, aren't you? Just say no!!! Speaking of quiz, do your friends really judge friendship based on '' How well do you know Ivy Eng'' quiz? Not to be mean but if they really do say goodbye to your friends la okay? What if you really score 100% does that mean you'll get a prize from your friend by being a TRUE friend gosh i wish i would never have to see those quizes anymore hahahaha!

And then there's Twitter. FB isn't the only social media phenomenon that is magically coining a new language. Look no further than its evil cousin, Twitter, for whole new set of fun words, including these:

Twitface: A term of contempt fot those synch Twitter and FB and then constantly update both throughout the day.

Tweetwalking: Twittering while asleep (Seriously stop going to bed with your Blackberry)

Twidiot: Any Twitter user who can't string togther a grammatically correct sentence in 140 characters. (I did this very often i guess. what a shame!)

I like FB but it's just the abusiveness of FB these days make me feel like shouting ''Get a life people!!!!" Sorry if this post pissess you off my dear dear friends =)))
